GarbageofEdenDesign's Shop Announcement

In the year 2006, designer Stephanie Huffaker became very concerned by how much plastic was littering the streets and waterways in New York City. She was worried about how it all would affect the local ecosystem, but she also saw potential in these discarded plastics to have a second and happier life. The variety of colors and textures of objects such as yogurt containers and plastic grocery bags were inspiring! It was the beginning of Garbage of Eden Design.

Garbage of Eden Design is an eco-friendly design and craft business. We make unusual, fun accessories out of upcycled plastics collected from the New York City area. We hope to inspire creative and thoughtful use and reuse of the objects that surround us all.
