Recycling with nature in mind...

I grew up with parents who were avid antique collectors and found myself loving the dusty old auction houses, small antique shops, swap meets, and the hunt. Guess some of that wore off on me since I still love the hunt but now it's for old vintage wares, barn wood, yard sales, and curb finds, anything I can reuse and keep out of the landfill. I've always recycled, even before it became popular (and glad to see it).

I've always loved creating something new from something old and enjoy working with wood of any kind. I started making bird houses, bird feeders, chicken coops, and planter boxes for my own yard and family and friends. My own yard is certified as a National Wildlife Backyard Habitat. My etsy shop is an avenue for me to be creative and offer useful and well made products for nature while promoting the reuse of materials in order to reduce waste.
