Handmade Goat Milk Soap

We started making soap for our eight children (yep, 8 of them!) four years ago when we became aware of all the unhealthy chemicals that were in store bought "soap". We were so amazed by the quality of handmade goat milk soap, that we turned soapmaking into a family business.

Everybody has a role in making our handmade soap. The children all help to melt, measure, swirl, cut, and bag every bar that we make. Mom (PJ) does the actual mixing of the soap as well as quality assurance.

We make only goat milk soap with milk from our own (antibiotic and hormone free) herd of dairy goats. We do not use a dried powder bought from a commercial supplier or canned milk from Walmart. We raise our own goats and our ten year old milks them twice a day.

We make a very large bar of soap that averages 6 ounces. We package our soaps in reusable muslin bags that are friendlier to the environment than shrink wrap.
