Once upon a time...I made mud pies from the red clay of the north Georgia mountains. In time I left behind the mud pies but I never forgot the pleasure of playing in the red clay.
Today I play with polymer clay that hardens in my home oven. My play things include pens, vases, salt/pepper shakers, candles, mugs, and pretty things to look at and hold. COOL, unique, interesting, and even groovy are words that have been used to describe my creations. The items are not dishwasher or microwave safe. They do not break easily because polymer hardens in the heat of the oven making them durable and usable as well as pretty.
