Welcome to Gypsy Poet Fashions B A R E! A minimalist approach to rustic romance!
I studied Textiles and Design at the University of Oregon where I received my B.S. in Fine Art in 1998. My work with Gypsy Poet Fashions has evolved from couture farmhouse with petticoats, ruffles and vintage lace to now a minimalist approach to rustic romance using earth friendly materials with texture and natural colors. This slight shift in aesthetics was inspired from the need create a clean design approach in my home, work studio and lifestyle due to suffering from chronic Asthma.
As Gypsy Poet Fashions is well known for using 100% linen, burlap, hemp and organic fabrics, tattered raw edges and a variety of textures, gpf BARE designs are a rustic mixture of romantic, exotic, and zen sensibilities with a minimalist aesthetic. Gypsy Poet Fashions BARE is about stripping all the couture layers away and bringing designs to their BARE minimum using healthy materials that don't emit toxins into the air .
