Halloween is right around the corner. Cascarones make a great alternative to candy treats and they are great fun at spooktacular parties. Check out my custom cascarones just for the scariest time of the year!

IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ: Although I carefully pack and tag my boxes as fragile, occasionally, some may arrive broken. Very few instances of breakage have been reported to me since I opened my store in 2009. My policy is to either refund to your PayPal account the value of the broken eggs or send replacement eggs.

Although many people associate cascarones with spring and Easter, they are a riot at birthday parties, too. Having a fiesta or Cinco de Mayo celebration? Think cascarones as an accent to your party. Cascarones (ka-ska-ron-es) are colorful confetti-filled eggshells that are cracked over the heads of friends and family at celebrations. Cascarones are very popular in the southwest, especially in South Texas. The word is derived from the Spanish word "cascara" which means shell.

Cascarones aren't just for kids. Adults love to surprise their friends with an un-eggspected shower of confetti. I have been making cascarones for all types of celebrations, including Valentine's, Christmas, Halloween, birthdays, and weddings.
