I have been an avid artist for over 30 years. My main medium had always been colored pencil, then I discovered the wonderful world of acrylics. I mainly drew scenery or wild animals. Then I became the mom of four dogs, then two other dogs. I love animals. Their faces are full expression that only a person owned by a pet can understand. I try to capture that look,especially through their eyes.
My first attempt was my ever faithful Velcro Pug. He has these teeth that just won't stay in his mouth. You may notice him on the title page ;)
This is what I love about painting, capturing "that" look.
