STOP BUYING OUR HATS FOR HALLOWEEN!!! CUSTOM HATS WILL NO LONGER BE MADE FOR HALLOWEEN ORDERS, NOT EVEN FOR A RUSH FEE. THE ONLY HATS AVAILABLE FOR HALLOWEEN SAY "READY TO SHIP" IN THE SUBJECT.

We're OVER OUR HEADS with orders! If you want a hat by Halloween, you MUST contact us DIRECTLY regarding your hat order in order to insure availability and guarantee you have your hat in time. DON'T EXPECT YOUR HAT TO ARRIVE BY HALLOWEEN UNLESS IT IS OK'D BY US!

10/01/2009:
Halloween is upon us and we are SLAMMED with hat orders! Because of overwhelming custom requests, we have made a cut-off for custom orders:
As of right now, hats needed in less than two weeks will be charged a rush fee.
Starting 10/05/2009 we will be charging a rush fee on all hats needed by Halloween.
We will not, however, charge rush fees on ready-to-wear or in stock hats.
We apologize for any inconvenience!

Welcome to our Etsy Store! We are the gypsy ladies. Who are we? We are three generations of women in one family with over 100 years of costuming, millinery and toy design experience between us.

We believe in old world craftsmanship using modern techniques and materials. We do not use buckram, felt or wire in any of our top hats. We make them from the ground up.

We have been making these top hats for over 35 years. Our hats are extremely durable. They are made on a rigid frame which allows us to use many fabrics, trims and techniques not possible with felt and buckram hats.
