Alexandrea Anissa reveals a sense of feminine structure with a dark aesthetic creating garments influenced by the beauty in life & death, harmony & disorder. Taking inspiration from contrasting subjects Vanessa Anissa illustrates ideas, creates patterns, stitches samples, takes a few pretty photos & shares her creations online. All products are handmade with love & care by Vanessa herself from her tiny apartment bedroom.

Vanessa Anissa began sewing & designing when she gave up her dream of becoming a Spice Girl at age seven. As a teenager she would create garments for herself, illustrate small collections & gather inspirations for her future line. After graduating from FIDM in San Francisco, she opened up an online shop selling vintage pieces, handmade accessories & reconstructed garments. As a year and a half passed by Vanessa decided it was time to close down her shop & finally release her own line creating & selling
garments purely of her own aesthetic, an approach to her dark beautiful tale.
