many elements of the jigsaw puzzle are customizable:

PRINT IMAGE - you can choose! - a photo of the family, your vintage car, favorite vacation spot, a relative's photography work* etc.
anything you'd like to have around for a long time with an open copyright

PUZZLE DIMENSIONS - 3x5 , 8x10 etc but can also be highly irregular (http://www.hammcrafted.com/carolina-parakeets.html)

PIECE COUNT - highly variable but limited in some respects by the dimensions

- Let me know who the puzzle is for and we determine the best dimension to piece count ratio. An average for adult puzzles is two pieces for every one square inch. -

FIGURALS - also known as whimsies and silhouettes, these are pieces with a specific, predetermined shape, the number found in a puzzle is limited by the dimensions and piece count. Because of the "whimsical" tradition of these pieces I do not charge any extra for them.

PLYWOOD BACKING - unless another request is made your puzzle will come with cherry but most quality hardwoods are available

CUT STYLE - for now I only offer the traditional, interlocking earlet (heart shape) style
