Hello and thank you for taking a look around my shop! My goal is to help you welcome and nurture your baby with beautiful clothing and accessories.

Babies are beauty. Beauty is both necessary and luxurious. As such, a baby's only responsibilities in life are to eat, sleep, poop, pee, experience love and inspire devotion. We are responsible for encouraging and facilitating baby's pursuits through interaction with and stimulation of their rapidly developing senses and perceptions.

To compliment the sensory connection between baby, you and the environment, "Handmade for Baby" designs begin with the practical needs expressed by my friends and colleagues who are mothers to infants and toddlers. Add concepts based on images from my childhood, observations from nature and studies in childhood development. Then, using ecologically responsible and ethically produced materials, I produce the various pieces you see in this shop.

If you like what you see in the shop but want a different color, stitch pattern or material, or an item has the right idea but needs a little tweaking to suit your little one, please visit my Alchemy page. I thrive on the dialogue between designer and client and want to ensure that your piece suits your level of "haute from the cradle".
