i started handmadecows in 2001, as an outlet for my pent-up need to "make things". i began with paper crafts, making and selling hand-stamped greeting cards and hand-sewn journals... later i moved on to beaded jewelry... eventually i would come to focus on natural soap and skincare products for my family and others. though i started out just making whimsical and fun things, i have come to focus on objects that are not only beautiful to look at and use, but that also help us connect with nature, through mind, body, and spirit. i create jewelry, stationery, children's toys, and all-natural skincare products that are affordable and that help to impart joy and happiness, along with the healing and empowering properties of nature.
