Heavy Threads Custom Embroidery is a one woman embroidery shop.

I love old movies, old cars, old music and mid-century everything, these things are what inspire my designs.

I have a professional Amaya 16 needle embroidery machine. I did embroidery full time for a few years, but due to the economy, had to go back to work last year. I still like to do embroidery as much as possible, but have limited time for it now, so unfortunately I had to stop doing custom orders.

All of my items are lovingly custom embroidered by me in my small home based shop located in the beautiful foothill community of Altadena, California.

My goal isn't to knock out high volume clip art graphics on low quality blanks, but to feature limited edition designs embroidered on the finest garments I can find.

I have collaborated with the lovely and talented Shelley of Zombie Kitten Originals on many designs. Please take a look at her shop to see her wonderful handmade skirts.
