Horses are being abandoned at alarming numbers due to high food costs. Reach out to your communities, actors, sports figures to raise money; have fund raisers for rescuing starving, abandoned horses, for medical care and to purchase hay for the horse owners who want to keep and provide for their beloved animals. If you know anyone who has the means to donate hay to local horse owners to help sustain & prevent their horses/farm animals from starving to death, please intervene and reach out to them immediately. As winter approaches, many will starve and freeze to death! We cannot let this happen! Pay attention when driving past farmland to any malnourished horses and report immediately to the Humane Society at: REPORT HORSE ABUSE and CARRIAGE HORSE ABUSE...
