Oak Triangle Looms at hideawayhomestead's Shop

hideawayhomestead's Shop Announcement

We live on an off-the-grid rancheria in the mountains of northwest Arizona where we have 25 plus white and colored angora goats. All of our products are produced in part with energy from the solar panels and wind turbine. Our yarns and fibers are washed, dyed and rinsed with solar hot water in season. JoAnne's products are sold from our Hideaway Homestead website and the major online marketplace.

I have been making the Hideaway Homestead brand triangle looms for several years, and as of late summer 2009 will be making and selling adjustable rectangle looms on Esty. For info on this new product, send a convo or email rogerslooms [!at] msn.com

JoAnne works with mohair, her main product being doll hair. She is also a spinner, knitter, and weaver, and is now able to offer some of her favorite fiber for the discerning fiber enthusiast.

I am back at work on light duty, but am ready to sell and ship the looms I have made and also can modify existing triangle looms to include inserts for combo looms. You can find more at our offgridlife.com website.

Our oak triangle looms are handcrafted from seasoned oak wood and have stainless steel pins. The pins are pressed into holes drilled into the wood with solar power. Finish sanding is done by hand. An oil-type finish is applied to protect the wood and bring out its beauty.

Here is a testimonial from a buyer of an 8' oak triloom:

"I want to reiterate what a pleasure it has been to do business with you. Your follow-up AND your product are nothing less than excellent. So thank you for making this purchase such a pleasure for me."
