We are now proud members of the North Alabama Etsy Team. You can find the team at http://northalabamaetsyteam.ning.com.

The handmade items are hand crafted by James and Jackie. James makes the wooden items and clocks. Jackie works in stained glass, leaded and mosaic, as well as various types of needlework.
Woodcraft items are mostly made of what we like to label as recycled hardwood. There is a small factory near Athens, Alabama that makes custom designed entryways, doors, and windows. They have a scrap pile of various types of hardwood. They sell the pieces to us, at a good price, that weren't quite up to their standards. To make small items, such as clocks or boxes, James can work around the flaws and save part of a tree that was destined for the burn pile.

Shipping estimates are according to the post office. The weight and size of some clocks makes the shipping charges so high. If you live close enough to north Alabama, you are always welcome to come pick up any item you purchase to avoid those charges. Contact us and we will discuss the details.
