Back from San Miguel de Allende, San Cristobal de Las Casas, Mexico City...and many side trip adventures. Thank you to the proprietor of "MexicanSupplies" here at Etsy for a fabulous, once in a lifetime adventure of indigenous cultures blended with the trendy-pop international community. What is a nicho? A small pressed tin frame in which to put a picture or 3-dimensional scene. You can honor the beings in your life that bring you happiness, joy, spiritual growth, true leadership, peace, religious protection, or just holy inspiration! Any photo or artistic design will do, one that you treasure.
Nichos can adorn your tables, walls, and most often your personal altar or holy niche. This is an ancient tradition in many cultures, now, you too can join in with the holy fun!
