The name Jules in "Homemade Jules" has a couple of meanings. First, It's a nickname my husband and I call our daughter. Second, I beleive the things I make are like jewels; to be treasured. And last the word joules is the unit of energy or work equal to the work done by a force of one newtoon acting through a distance of one meter, which makes me think of the work I put into the things I create. All three of these things were very important to me, not only in choosing a name but in my choice to sale the things I make.
