Biography of the Artist:
Hope began creating before she learned to walk. With experience in painting, jewelry making, sewing, and building snowmen, Hope seems to have tried all things creative. Currently she focuses her passions on sustainable jewelry making. Hope is sure to reuse heirlooms found at resale shops, vintage stores, and the occasional garage sale, mixing them with each other and the occasional recently purchased bead or treasure. Her years of experience with all things creative, memories from living in Louisiana and Mexico, and the inspiration she finds in everyday items make each piece of her jewelry a unique treasure to cherish. Having trained under Native American beaded jewelry makers , Hope embraced their philosophy that beauty lies in imperfection. To Hope, total perfection is synthetic. She believes in revamping the traditional in order to make one of a kind art that you can wear everyday.
