royal's at it again!

we've come down to earth. check out our new "from nature" section for one-of-a-kind prints reflecting the beauty of the natural world.

2010 is almost upon us. get a jump on the new year with a black and white houndtracks calendar. 12 months of basset hound whimsy! these calendars also make great colouring projects for children.

royal plant is a freelance artist and has recently retired as an art teacher...royal, in 1997, was recognized and awarded by the bc art teachers associatioin for her excellence in art education...while at west vancouver secondary, her students won numerous awards for animation & claymation.

royal creates a calendar annually which features her basset hounds in caricature...her love of her hounds, since 1970, is evident in all her works...

royal has worked as art director & production artist on three canadian TV series: lois walker's "take part" for kids where she drew cartoons on "royals roost". "tell a tale town" & "hands up, hands on" where she created funky pop art on her "pop art patio" segment.

royal, born in vancouver, now resides on vancouver island with her husband & two basset hounds.
