UPDATE TO EU SHIPMENTS, PLEASE READ: With the new VAT rules, we need you to provide your phone number on all orders. We have had to adjust our shipping prices as our shipping courier has not fully transitioned to these new rules and we are unable to provide the information needed to create a shipping label. We will be using Canada Post until they have transitioned which is unfortunately more expensive. We will continue to refund all shipping overages incurred.
For local Toronto pick up at our studio, please use the code LOCALPICKUP at checkout. We will book an appointment with you to arrange the pick up time.
We use a USPS shipping provider with tracking for United States and International packages, shipping once weekly, as well as Canada Post for our Canadian customers. We offer free shipping for orders over $35 USD to US customers, and will refund any overages in shipping where applicable, for domestic and international shipments. We are in the studio from 9am-5pm EST, Monday to Friday, and do our best to respond to your questions within a short time. Please contact us if you need expedited shipping via FedEx. We encourage any of our international buyers to include their phone numbers with their shipping address.
Thank you for considering Ian Drummond Vintage!

4 out of 5 starsThis fabric piece is quite dingy in color and musty -things that I did not pick up from the item description. However, it is so darn cute and unique that I am pleased with the purchase! Shipping was fast and the fabric was well packaged.
Ian responded on Mar 18, 2024
Hi Margarita, I am sorry you feel the colour wasn't represented properly, we photograph everything under a bright studio light however we don't alter any of our pictures to "enhance" colour. We just use the studio lights in order to properly pick up details and textures, stains etc. Our apologies about the musty smell - I did not notice it at the time of packing it up but again, it is an older piece of fabric and perhaps was more apparent after being folded up in an airtight package than when it had been stored with our other fabrics in baskets at the studio. We're glad you will enjoy the fabric nonetheless and hope a good wash in some vinegar will help with the musty scent. All the best and happy sewing!

Frequently asked questions
Sizing details
Vintage clothing sizes do not necessarily correspond to modern sizes.
Vintage items may have been altered from their original size label, so please trust our measurements.
All measurements are taken flat, given in inches and centimetres whenever possible, and often photographed with a ruler for scale.
We do not pin items on our forms, and do our best to represent items accurately.
Please convo for any questions about fit. W're industry professionals who are used to working at a distance.
Custom and personalized orders
All of our items have been previously owned, or created as costumes for film and television productions.
We do not manufacture, alter or change anything we sell. We cannot customize anything.
Care instructions
We are happy to give our best information about caring for vintage items, but always recommend that owners should do their own research for best practices. As experienced costume industry professionals, we handle a good deal of vintage clothing and accessories and are happy to share our years of knowledge, but can't be responsible for anything that occurs once the items leave our hands.
Gift wrapping and packaging
We are happy to forward items as gifts, and can happily write a gift tag on white cardstock.
We pack every item in fresh white tissue tied with ribbon, as we feel every purchase should be a pleasure to receive. It feels great to be a bright spot in someone's day!
We can avoid, or as we usually do, customize packing receipts so as not to include price, for the sake of discretion.
Please just indicate or convo it's a gift, and we'll do our best to impress.
Wholesale availability
All of our items are vintage, or unique, and there are no wholesale opportunities.
That said, if you are a film or television production, please contact us if you would like to consider a larger purchase or to find out what we might have available through our full-service movie wardrobe rental studio.
What else do you have?
We have a great amount of stock that does not make it to Etsy! Please convo if you're on the hunt for something in particular.
Do you purchase vintage clothing?
We sure do! Ian will often take our Etsy sales funds and turn them into purchases for or movie wardrobe rental stock! We're not just Etsy sellers, but Etsy shoppers too. Please see our website: iandrummondcollection.com to find out about our main business. You can also catch glimpses of what we do @iandrummondcollection on Instagram, or find us on Facebook.
He'll consider large collections or individual items, based on the productions we are currently working with. And if you're a vendor who specializes in high glamour gorgeousness, well, Ian is the person who'll want the stained and worn "character" clothing from that Estate you just found.
It's not all about things being perfect here - it's about things working for us on the screen.
