Welcome to Woofies! I started making handmade dog toys for my 5 rescue dogs because I wasn't too keen on some of the materials used in many store-bought dog toys. I wasn't to happy with the way they held up either. Thus, I put my 35+ years of sewing experience to good use, and am having a great time designing new toys for the dogs to play with.
Please keep in mind that all of my items are hand and custom made, so they may have a little more *character* than store bought mass produced things. I do my best to choose quality fabric, then make them with love and care. But these are handmade and items, so be prepared for the occasional charming imperfection.
All materials used are new unless otherwise stated. I sometimes use recycled water bottles for noise makers. Currently, my fabric of choice is a soft fleece, and I stitch the seams of the toys at least 3 times with a stretchable style of sewing stitch. This helps keep the seams from breaking in a tug-of-war match. Most of my toys contain a plastic squeakers, grunter, crinkle paper, etc. for added entertainment. The toys come from a smoke free, pet-friendly home.
Dog toys are shipped via U.S. First Class Mail unless otherwise stated in the item's description. Any excess shipping charged are credited back to you via PayPal should the actual shipping costs come out less than you paid.
