jadorelesmacarons' Shop Announcement

Bonjour! After a 10 year love affair with Pierre Herme and Laduree's French macarons, I finally had the opportunity to fly to Paris to specifically learn the art of baking French Macarons. I trained in Paris at the famed Le Cordon Bleu and at Lenotre.

A typical week consists of running our own retail business, running a household and running after our toddler. I've managed to dedicate Mondays as Macaron Mondays, where I bake while the little one takes a 2 hour nap. It's a race to finish as much as possible before she wakes up. Filling the "mac macs" (nicknamed by the wee one) usually takes place from 10 pm - midnite. As you can see, I'm really dedicated to my mac macs. I love everything about macarons.

I love making them, baking them, decorating them, filling them, packaging them, sharing them and finally eating them too! (Gosh, I sound like the story of the Little Red Hen...reading too many bedtime stories!)

Hence the name of my blog, J'adore les macarons.

I would so appreciate it if you could take a few minutes of your time to answer the following questions about your experience with Macarons.
