**About the Artist: Arie Reinhardt Taylor
Arie Reinhardt Taylor was born in 1921 in Catawba County in North Carolina. Arie bases her work on scenes from her life in rural Catawba County in the 1920's and '30's. Her paintings provide a sense of nostalgia for any viewer regardless of whether or not they are familiar with the scene. People from an older generation are reminded of the way things used to be in "the old days", while younger generations learn what life was like before cell phones, computers, and video games. Arie is the daughter of Minnie Smith Reinhardt, who also was a well known artist. Arie Reinhardt Taylor is a 2nd generation artist and her art is well know throughout western North Carolina. Her original oil paintings and folk art prints are internationally collected and can be found in private collections all over the world! She has painted over 40 years out of her 95 years and over 1,000 paintings in oils and watercolor.
****More Information About Giclee Prints****
*Giclée prints are considered to be among the highest quality art prints available and are sold through galleries and museums all over the world. Giclée printing is a great way for artists to create museum quality reproductions of their original art.

5 out of 5 starsThis is one of my favorite prints because of the subject matter. I love the old log house. The family enjoys visiting with one another and listening to the banjo. It is so realistic, just like the other prints. Great shop, fabulous painter!

5 out of 5 starsThe print "Laundry Day" reminded me of how my great-grandmother and grandmother did laundry. It was an all-day affair. This beautiful print brought back memories for me. Thank you, Miss Taylor!

5 out of 5 starsI purchased several prints from this shop, jagartist. The artist, Arie Taylor, is a talented painter. She paints places and events she remembers as a child growing up in western North Carolina. The prints are of superb quality. They look exactly like what is shown. Prints were packaged carefully so they would not be damaged. I highly recommend this artist!

Artist
Arie was born in 1921 and is still painting. She paints about farm life in the 20s and 30 in western North Carolina. Many of her paintings are requests to paint their old home place. Picking cotton has been her best seller and lately Moonshiners has.
