I weave and braid wire (Argentium sterling silver and 14 karat gold-fill) entirely by hand, without using jigs, special tools, or solder. Much of my work is an exploration and expansion of a technique, called "Viking knitting", that has its origins in the Viking-era of the 8th to 10th century. Other pieces are derived from textile techniques, and some just result from playing with wire!
