I'm a Huntington, WV based photographer who's methods can best be described as natural. I use natural light 95% of the time. I don't edit heavily creating a plastic person look, I don't like a posed look. I prefer to keep my photography somewhat organic. I come from the philosophical stance that to be a photographer you must do the majority of your work on the camera and not afterward. Much of what I see in modern photography I would argue is not photography but digital art. I stray from this on occasion, but not often. I've been shooting semi professionally for little under a year now with about 4 years total experience. Most of that was just tinkering with a 5mp point and shoot. I've had no education in photography or art and, in some respects, prefer it that way.
I was house photographer at The Huntington Funny Bone until it recently closed. I'm the current Dames for Dogs charity photographer. My work has been featured on Up Late with Jamie LoFiego. One photo serves as a backdrop on the set behind the host's desk. I've had an exclusive art exhibit and have had experience in band/musician, modeling, couples, and wedding photography.
I like to dabble in most forms of photography so let me know if there's anything you need. I don't shoot nudes or child beauty pageant photos. I don't gouge my customers with high prices and you save money by printing yourself.
I am currently shooting with a Nikon D60 digital SLR camera. I use Corel Paint Shop Pro for editing.
