We are a husband and wife small business. We strive to provide quality Handmade Batik art. All of our Batik items are hand-drawn, hand-painted, and hand dyed to order. NO TWO ARE EVER THE SAME.

Each one is individually made so please Expect 2-3 weeks from date of purchase to receive your handmade batik.(high season May-Aug expect 3-4).

Since each shirt is made to order we do not accept returns. We offer exchanges if there is an issue with sizing or a defect. Please contact us within 30 days.

Please make sure that you have entered the right mailing address. If you didn't receive your item due to wrong address you provided you will be responsible for re-shipping cost. Please keep track of your delivery day so you know when its being delivered. Package Theft is not covered. We will not replace at our expense.

Batik Process-
In the Batik process the garment is first drawn on with wax. Next we paint inside the waxed design. After the paint is dry, the design is covered with wax so that the wax resists the penetration of dye. Next the garment is placed in a dye bath using Fiber Reactive Dyes(meaning that the dye soaks into the fibers of the shirt). The dye is permanent and won't fade after repeated washings. After the shirt has been dyed we boil out all the wax; this causes the garment to shrink a bit but also sets the dye. Once all the wax is boiled out we wash and dry it.
