Hello! I'm Dan Grzeca (pronounced "Jet-sah"), a painter and printmaker from Chicago. I have been making hand screenprinted posters and prints for the last 10 years or so. I've made posters and artwork for bands such as the Melvins, Thursday, Vandermark Five, Peter Brotzmann, the Black Keys and many many more.
All the work here is printed in my studio and shop, Ground-Up. My painting process greatly affects the way I make my screenprints; in person the prints reflect a great depth in texture and color that is only hinted at in these jpegs. I strive as hard as I can to even make the humble show poster a thing of lasting art.

All work is sent priority mail, in a tube within a triangular USPS mailer. I take great pride in both what I make , and how fast and secure I ship my work. Thanks for looking!
