Hello! I’m Jillian, a Photographer from the Santa Cruz Mountains.

I have always loved taking photos for as long as I can remember. At age 16, I was asked to take photos for an engagement shoot. I was so excited about the photos from the shoot. After that, I just knew that photography was what I wanted to do. Behind the lens, I felt like I really got to be myself and show the world how I see the world.

Traveling after high school really opened my eyes to the beauty of the world. After Traveling to Paris, French Polynesia, London and many other places in between, I decided it was time to share my work with the world. I opened my Etsy shop in February of 2011 and have continued to build up my portfolio since then. I have really had fun combining my photography with some Typography elements. And I have recently expanded with the help of a couple manufacturers, so now my shop features my work on pillow covers, tote bags and iphone/Samsung cases (coming soon) This has been an exciting adventure for me, not only sharing my work with others, but also running a small business from my home studio.

My true love is black and white photography. There is something so classic and beautiful about it. The simplicity of it just has no comparison in my opinion. Though I do work with color as well, black and white will always be my favorite! Though I still shoot with my vintage cameras using film, I now primarily use a Digital SLR Canon 60D.
