Welcome to Bird and Bear the etsy shop of Brooklyn artist Joetta Maue.

Joetta Maue's work has been exhibited throughout the country and featured on a number of blogs and online journals.

Currently you can see Joetta's work at the "Fiber Art International 2010" at the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts and "from the tongue...", at 34 N. Moore, Tribeca, NY. She recently had 2 solo exhibits: "home sweet home" at Corridor Gallery in Brooklyn, NY and "the process of forever" at Basement Gallery in Oakland, CA.
She will be a featured artist in a forthcoming exhibit at the Duxbury Museum in Massachusetts.

Joetta's work will be included in the forthcoming book, "Indie Craft", edited by Jo Waterhouse, expected publication Fall 2010- as well as 2 other books being published in 2011.

Joetta authors the popular arts and craft blog Little Yellowbird as well as regularly contributes articles to the online journal Hello Craft and MrXStitch.
