Welcome to Wonderful Whittlin'! I carve wood using only hand tools, often using naturally-found materials. Recycled branches from a neighbor's yard work, deadfall found while hiking in the woods, or a piece of scrap from another project, any good wood is fair game for whittlin'.
I use a simple carving knife, and some small hand tools for details. All sanding and finishing is done by hand.
