Thank you for visiting Joyful Mosaic. I like to work both big & small. (You can see the big stuff at www.joyfulmosaic.com) I enjoy making large scale installations, but after a big project I find relief & joy in making little items. Many of the bottles and vases you will see listed are built upon recycled beverage bottles or interesting items purchased from flea markets & garage sales. Art panels are most often created on a wood base. Some are experimental collage/mosaic like things. Each piece is one of a kind, I just can't make the exact same thing twice even if I try. The tesserae (tiles) I use are stained glass, vitreous glass, ceramic tiles, pottery shards,pebbles,quartz crystals and other gemstones.

I am inspired by spiritual themes, feminine shapes, patterns and spirals and colors found in nature. Although I live in an urban environment, nature is very important to me and my creativity.
