It all started at the age of 12 when my aunt taught me how to crochet. From that moment on I was “hooked!” When my first nephew was born, I discovered the joy of amigurumi and before long was making my own patterns. I love joining my innate desire to create with my affection for crochet. My wonderful husband has encouraged me to do more with my creations from day one. He has been my biggest fan and supporter…so here we are now with Joyful Round.

My shop name Joyful Round (most of my toys are crocheted in rounds) is a play on Psalms 100:1-2 “Make a joyful [sound] to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come into his presence with singing.” My creations are an expression of my joy and praise and I hope that they can bring some joy to others as well.
