JTCWoocrafts: Unique handcrafted wood items

JTCWoodcrafts's Shop Announcement

I follow in my grandfathers woodworking footsteps by using interesting and unusual woods in my craft. These unique woods include burls, highly figured grains, and uncommon wood species. I also use eco-friendly lumber sources whenever possible, including urban loggers who use trees that would otherwise go in the landfill and sustainable sources. A lot of my wood is now coming from my own woodlot and sawmill. I have applied sustainable forestry practices to our forest and the result is some interesting, rustic lumber from cleaning out damaged, dead, and crowded trees while improving the forest. These items are listed in the Sustainable Forestry section.

*I have a new batch of wood ready to build with from the woodlot, so check back to see new and different items soon. If you would like to read more about my sustainable forest, you can go to my blog at http://texaswoodlot.blogspot.com
