Welcome to Kaiku Lifestyle!

My name is Sirpa and I am a Finnish woman living in California. I like to use as many recycled materials as I can and give abandoned textiles a new life. I have always felt that the new hand made product is an echo of the old one.

That's why I chose the name Kaiku. Kaiku means "echo" in Finnish. "Lifestyle" refers to the whole way of living in a sustainable way, respecting others and the resources of our planet and listening to the echo of our actions in the world.

I have included also some vintage crafts books to my store. Buying old books instead of new ones is environmentally friendly, too.

If you have any questions or would like to order a custom made item, contact me. I have made custom orders from cat slings to purses.
