In the late 1970's my Grandmother and her good friend Judy decided to create a pattern business. Well, they did and they called it Kalico Kastle. Together they designed these patterns and traveled all over the United States doing craft shows. Back then they also offered the kits to make the items along with the patterns. Unfortunately the kits are no longer available, but the patterns still are and that's where I came into the picture.

Gram has a large inventory of patterns and still gets a lot of inquiries and orders through phone and mail. That is when we discovered Etsy and thought to give it a shot! I take care of the Etsy site and orders and Gram is there to help when ever I need her.

Along with maintaining the Etsy shop, I am a wife, mother, going to college, and working two jobs at local hospitals. Life is full of opportunity!

These patterns have brought much joy to both my Grandmother and myself. I hope that these patterns, and the creations you make from them, bring you as much happiness as they have for me since I was a child. Enjoy!
