As a child of the West, with roots in South Dakota ranches, and an Irish grandmother, you will see these influences in my clothing. I love old farms, prairie memories, ethnic influences, and am delighted to use peices of old laces, linens, ribbons, fabrics, that women carefully made many years ago. Adds so much quality to clothing.
Clothes altered to bring joy and loveliness into your life- using linen, ribbons, vintage linens, cottons, rayons, wools, laces, buttons. I love to do reverse applique- and add touches of embroidery and buttons to my items.

most of my clothes are recycled, upcycled, or vintage or hand-me-downs, so eco friendly -
***IMPORTANT ~My designs are created from upcycled clothes OR some is new and never worn and some gently used ~ I buy only the best designer fashions.
I use stitching that is often visible....
My designs are not perfect- but happily imperfect and I use shabby tattering
and often use asymmetry. If edges are left raw~ which adds delightful character~ they will gently soften over time. My clothes are unique- Kateblossom originals.
