While I paint and illustrate to feed my soul and our bank account, I also love to make little 'messes'...I am what one might call a folk sewer - crude stitches, self taught, not very exact. My sewing is childlike, much like me. My farm, my animals, and nature all inspire me and bring me joy - I hope my silly little items show the love I have for them.

A note about our lavender: We grow all lavender here on our Oregon farm. Pesticide free. We have over 4000 plants in the ground. Unlike much of the lavender sold online, ours is grown here in the USA, and is not shipped in from Japan or France. It is fresh from the current season [unlike much lavender online].
