Right now i'm in the test run phase of my Etsy shop. People have been requesting I set up an account here for a while now but please bare with me as I ease into this.
All transactions will take place in a timely and professional manner, it just may not look terribly pretty here for a few weeks.
I'm a stay at home mother and wife before anything else, this is the most important and fulfilling job i've ever had.
A DIY additude is a large part of the foundation on which I build my life. I feel constantly driven to learn new skills to add to my lifes portfolio, this could be anything from needle felting to field dressing a deer. My world is steeped in creativity and beauty living on our upstate NY homestead with my inspiringly talented family. My husband is a professional tattoo artist and knock your socks off photographer. My father a skilled carpenter and creator of amazing rustic furniture as well as multifaceted musician. I cant wait to see my 14 month olds artistic interests grow and thrive.
My focus is and always has been sewing but my artistic interests lead me all over the place. Its important for me to have a unique and high quality product. My fabrics come from all over the Internet, country and time periods. The majority of the buttons used come from my grandmothers button collection, part of which has been featured in museums and art shows.
Creating is my catharsis and my hope for Etsy is that perhaps it will help fund my projects.
