My work made it into Contemporary Sculptors Book
Hello Artists!!! If you are reading this CONGRATULATIONS!!! You are in Contemporary Sculptors. We saw the layout and it looks great! The book should be out in June and we will be emailing you more info closer to the release date. They used these pieces. I spoke with Stacey McNutt our publicist about the book signings and this is what she said. Stacey will be emailing everyone with a pdf of the book cover and press release closer to June. She will also ask that you fill out a form that inquires about your local news papers where a promotional copy of the book will be sent for review.

I have decided that I lost track of WHY I love my art. I love the gals but it as time for a change & this change is going to be around for awhile. So I began to play with found objects or my art. For just the fun of it. The hubcap was such a cool idea for the Landfill Art Project I thought Ken's idea of turning junk hubcaps into art was so very cool. So I decided it would be fun to play & use junk as my canvases sometimes. Once I started putting polymer on it I was changing the junk into art.


"WALL DANCERS"

Fun whimsical additions for those who enjoy 'different' and 'unusual.' Extremely 'people friendly' art pieces that are truly charming! My wish is that they will make you feel happy, positive and sometimes even encouraged. That they will always put a smile on your face! Wall Dancers are one of a kind art dolls. Each is an original hand-crafted with love. No two will ever be alike! No molds are used They are made from polymer clay, wire & beads and possibly any other 'fun' things I may run across! All of my dolls bodies are between 9"-12" in length. They are always ready to hang! Their 'unique' hands & arms are made from wire with beads throughout. They are finished with two coats of Poly-Acrylic gloss. Colors on your monitor may not match the dolls exactly. Since these dolls are created by hand, there may be slight imperfections which just adds to their charm.
