From May 12th - May 26th I will be in Vermont studying woodworking, and therefore unable to paint any custom pieces (eek!). I will continue to ship what I have in stock twice a week from VT, and I will answer convos as much as possible. Merry spring!
Thank you for stopping by to see my spectacle of miniatures. Each one is made personally by me with a lot of love and a fair amount of patience (but no magnifying glass, I swear).
All of these mini paintings are done in a combination of artist's grade oil paint and heavy-duty oil enamel - the first component allows me to mix any color and achieve small detail, while the second keeps it super vibrant and durable. By day I am a sign and mural painter, and I create these tiny gems in the evenings. I mix the paint and compose each design in layers over the course of a week or so, allowing them to dry and gain dimension. My painting desk looks like an elf workshop.
For every 20th sale, I make a $28 donation to Kiva International in the buyer's name, which sponsors a loan to help a small business in other parts of the world. See more at www.kiva.org
Nitty-gritty info can be found in the shop policies.
I do indeed make custom orders - they require more time and are therefore a higher price than those listed in my shop, depending on complexity. Please feel free to convo me with inquiries, ideas and pictures. If you see a sold piece that you love, I can most likely recreate it, so do ask if you are interested.
Thank you so much for the incredible support and business!
Love,
Khara
