I started my Etsy shop in 2009 after getting my feet wet as a portrait photographer. I enjoyed the art of capturing people and their families but soon concluded that I loved capturing the beauty that surrounded me even more. I am inspired by water in nature and the secluded spots along the Lake Michigan shoreline. Many of my images are of places I frequented as a child. Only after moving away from my Northern Michigan hometown did I realize the vast beauty I was so lucky to have grown up around.
My business is run around my beautiful son who determines the course the day will take. I am thrilled my images can be found in collections around the world, on book covers, design blogs and on the set of an upcoming television show premiering spring 2014!

Most of my landscape images are of places I frequented as a child in Northern Michigan. I am continuously overwhelmed by the magnificent landscapes of Lake Michigan's shoreline and I strive to convey that beauty in my work.
