My name is Klara, I grew up by the sea, and adore the fragrance of lavender. All my scarfs are unique, and hand painted, with slight differences, making each item a signed original art piece, suitable for wear as an accessory, or framed and displayed as art. I would be happy create custom painted scarfs at your request, whether you would like the same displayed motif, but with a different colors scheme, or something completely new.

Born on January 12,1940 in Plovdiv
1966-Graduated from the National Academy of Art in Sofia
Since 1971 has beenteaching Textilesat the National Art Academy.
1975-1996-Head of the Textile Department at the Nationa Art Academy
1998-Professor at the National Art Academy
Active in the field of art textiles and design,printmaking,sculpture and ceramics.
AWARDS:
1971,1975-Prizes for tapestry at the national exhibitions of young artists.
1975-Two prizes at the First Triennal of Tapestry,Lodz,Poland
1993-Prize at the First Biemmal of Printmaking,Saporo,Japan
1996,1997-Grand Prix at the Spring Salon of Decorative Arts.
COLLECTIONS:
There are works by Dimo balev in the National Art gallery,Sofia,the Sofia Municipal Art Gallery,the National Museum of Decorative Arts Sofia,the Museum of Tapestry in Lodz Poland,in public bildings in Sofia,Vratsa,Bourgas,Kyustendil and in private collections in Bulgaria,France,Poland,Japan and United States.
