I guess my favorite when it comes to making jewelry is wire wrapping. I did take a few classes on metal smithing and enjoyed it, but I am so clumsy I am afraid I would catch my studio on fire. Although my husband reassures me by offering a fire extinguisher nearby.
I was recently featured in Louisville's Today's Women magazine in November 2009, because, I like to recognize women in the community by giving them a piece of jewelry from the heart.
This year I branched out into making hat's for Derby. I entered a local contest at Westport Village, but did not win, place, or show. I was truly out of my league. But, I am not giving up and will enter again in 2011.
