I have noticed an emerging trend in the shop as of late: huge skeins of yarn! I hate having to graft or weave in ends on a lacy shawl, so I'm trying to take that part of knitting out of the equation for you.

Unfortunately, this leads to skeins of yarn that may not fit the standard ball winder. If you're wondering if your ball winder can handle it, let me know. I have a jumbo winder, so if there's any doubt I am happy to wind it for you before popping it into the mail.

Knitting Wounded Yarns is dedicated to giving fiber a second chance by providing eco-conscious crafters recycled luxury and workhorse fibers as well as buttons, stitch-markers, and other crafty delights.
