LadyFlowersbySusan is a shop dedicated to bringing joy, empowerment and healing to women.
I am a scientist; my shop items are often about nature, like my moon pendants, my gingko leaf pendants and my Blossom necklaces. I have a few items about the grace that surrounds us; a few to help us set wise boundaries and a few just for joy, like the things found in my Eye Candy shop section.
I also sell a line of feminist art designed for healing and empowerment.
My LadyFlowers are handmade by me, a medical doctor. Since 1977, I have devoted my career to Women’s Sexual Health. My sculptures of the vulva are meant to transform a woman’s self regard. Placing a LadyFlower where you can see it every day can transform the way you see and experience your femininity.
LadyFlowers encourage reverence for all that is womanly: wisdom; confidence; strength; self-protection; openness; generosity; creativity and the ability to nurture girls and other women.
Giving a LadyFlower to another woman can transform her feminine self-regard as well.
My LadyFlowers, especially the pearl white or pearl ivory ones, make transformative gifts for a woman who has experienced sexual trauma or verbal/physical abuse at the hands of a loved one. Viewing one of these LadyFlowers on a daily basis can put her back in touch with her feminine beauty, strength and confidence.
