All leaf vein jewelry is made from re-purposed cement board. Cement board is a material used primarily as a backer board or sub-floor for tile installation. It consists of fibers and the cement that binds it together. It is extremely strong and durable and it has the ability to form a lasting (and lightweight!) product.

All cement board jewelry is handpainted and should be treated with care! Every piece is thoroughly sealed and is water resistant, but for the life of your piece I don't recommend any long duration of water exposure.
