These portraits were taken by Brooklyn-based photographer Laurel Golio as part of the We Are the Youth project. We Are the Youth is a photojournalism project founded by Laurel Golio and journalist, Diana Scholl. The project chronicles the individual stories of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender youth in the United States. 100% of the profit from the shop goes towards We Are the Youth, enabling the continuation of the project.
