As we move toward the holiday season, please expect some delays. Cigar boxes, especially, although I will be hiring someone to help me once a week so hopefully that will help! I normally ship within 5 - 10 business days, of course I try to get out shipments sooner if I can. I do suggest getting your Christmas/Hannukah orders in sooner than later :)

Portland General Store uses high quality and natural ingredients, limiting the use of harsh chemicals as much as possible. I use absolutes and essential oils (including wild harvested), not fragrance oils, in my perfumes, bath scrubs, and body cremes. I'm very much into skin care, and following the latest trends, keeping my line fresh. Some current trends in "what's hot" (at least in the US -- some of these ingredients date back to ancient times in their use in skin care in other cultures) include using sea minerals and turmeric, which you'll find in some of my products. Since childhood, I've always experimented with mixing unlikely concoctions, and that has spilled over into my perfumery -- unique, sometimes complex fragrances, which you'll also find in my shoppe. New trends in perfumery include women wearing more "masculine" scents, like tobacco and leather, and men wearing scents that have a floral base, such as rose and jasmine -- so feel free to shop for scent in my men's shoppe! My favorites are TOBACCO/TABAC, WHISKEY, WOOD, I HEART VANILLA, 1920, FRENCH KITCHEN, and FRENCH LAUNDRY. Have fun!
