Thank you for visiting my Etsy store, I hope you will look around because I have a wide variety of items. My Etsy store is to sell my hand knit and needle felt items although I also work with stained glass, and digital photography.
I use high quality materials no matter which craft I am working with, because I want your purchase to be the highest quality possible. This is how I came to the name Heirloom Goods. Since I couldn't use Heirloom Goods here at Etsy and wanted to stay as close to my company name as possible I named my Etsy store leedrasheirloomgoods.
I have come to realize I can be more creative with yarn than any other craft I have done in the past, including stained glass. In 2009 I began creating my own designs, and love how creative I can be. In 2011 I began selling some of my knit patterns at local yarn stores. These include fingerless gloves and little girl dresses.
Currently I am knitting and felting purses using my own designs. I am also adding needle felting to my felted purses, the needle felt designs are all one of kind (OOAK) because they do not follow any patterns. The felted purses look so soft that people want to touch them just to see. They really are that soft too! The needle felting is very time consuming due to the fibers are actually pushed into the felted purse using a barbed needle.
The felted purses are hand knit using 100% wool. Wool is very user friendly due to the fact it does not need cleaning very often. *****Wool is also very sturdy and does not require any lining to retain it's shape.***** To avoid further felting (shrinkage), should be treated as a delicate garment when cleaning. Can be washed in cold water and air dried or dry cleaned.
All of my original designs have the designer label indicating it was designed by me.
